Jam Session DURING the Dance this Week
Dance + Jam Session led by Katie Neary this Sunday.
What's up dancers! We're trying something a little different this week. Instead of hosting a jam session after the dance, y'all get a special treat this week of having local musicians rotate through the session between songs. If you are also a musician, this is the perfect time to come out and play!
Katie Neary will be leading this week's session. She's performed for Rittenhop leading her own band, at Jazz Town recently with Olivia Perrin's band, and not too long ago with the Temple Lab Band at Jazz Attack. She's also been playing some great shows in Jazz clubs around philly.
The house band will be:
- Katie Neary: Tenor Sax
- Tim Christopher: Piano
- Ry Miller: Bass
- Jackson Lott: Drums
In addition to the above instruments, we will also have a vocal mic available. TBD on spare amp for guitarists. Please feel free to bring a horn (and the iReal app), and jump in on the session!

I think we've resolved the issue with the park rangers, so they shouldn't hassle us for the rest of the year. Still working on a more permanent solution for the semicircle bench near the goat statue, but if you don't see us there, look around the park, check discord or insta.
