Annual Holiday Party, Choreo Performances

It's the Rittenholiday season! Shoutout to the dancers who just performed our annual choreo routine at the Rittenhouse Square Tree Lighting yesterday afternoon. Always nice to get out in the community and show Philly what we're all about.

Annual Holiday Party

We're back again on Friday Dec. 12, with a big fundraiser party at the National Society of Colonial Dames (1630 Latimer st.) a block from Rittenhouse Square. This is a beautiful venue with a great dance floor upstairs, and plenty of room to hang out with your swing dancin' pals.

6-8pm: we'll have a hangout downstairs, most likely with live music and an open jam session with Park Bench Band. At this point you can start entering for our raffles with gifts from local businesses, and swing dance-related prizes.

8-11pm: Ben Cohen & The Collaboration will be returning the stage to play some bops and bangers for us.

Somewhere between 8-11pm, we'll have our choreo team perform, and we'll host a fun little Lindy Hop competition (most likely a Strictly + Battle format, ie. bring a partner) with music in the finals played by Ben Cohen's band.

Tickets will be $20 at the door, or look out in the discord for volunteer opportunities to dance for free.

• Sunday 12/7 — 2:30pm, Rittenhouse Sq., corner of Walnut x 18th st. (opposite corner to the normal spot). Open Streets will be happening at this time in the area

Rittenhop this Sunday

Sun. Dec. 7 - DJ'd Rittenhop. We will plan to start at our usual spot in the southwest corner of Rittenhouse Square. Keep an eye on discord and the website, in case we migrate to the other side of the park.
1pm: No lesson! Just social dancing for the rest of the season.
2:30pm: Choreo routine on the Northeast corner of Rittenhouse Sq. (Walnut x 18th st.)
